I’ve spent my childhood and most of my teenage years in SANTOS.
So, I will try to do my best and give you some travel tips.
Hope it’ll be somehow useful.
A nice place to visit with your family,
specially if you have kids.
I remember when I was a child,
I loved to visit the aquarium and eat pop corn :-))
Now, they reshaped maintaining some of the old
part and structured a new modern architecture,
a nice one indeed.
Also one of the best places to go with your family
and have lots of fun.
Despite of being a historical and great place to visit,
another highlight is the coffee place, where I ate
a great coffee pie… HUMMMM so great.
Hope when you’ll visit there, they still will have it!
Enjoy it 🙂
Recognized as a special artist, Benedito Calixto (1853 – 1927) left
such a great collection of paintings.
You may also find some of his work at the Pinacoteca-SP.
This is one of my favorite places in Santos to visit.
Monte Serrat Sanctuary (1598-1603)

To go to the top you may exercise yourself and
go all long by stairs (free) or
better take the funicular $.
